Tennis Studio Couder is a family-run tennis academy with deep roots in Spanish tennis. Founded in the 1980s by Juan Manuel Couder, one of Spain’s great tennis players, the academy is now led by his children. The school operates year-round in Madrid and hosts Tennis Stages–summer training campsfor children in León, making it one of Spain’s pioneers in this format.
Three aging courts at the venue had deteriorated significantly, with extensive cracking making them nearly unusable. To restore them, a reinforced concrete base was installed, followed by two layers of asphalt to create a durable foundation. The courts were then resurfaced with the Plexipave system, providing a high-performance playing surface.
For the finishing touch, the courts were coated in dark green and Florida green for the interior and light green for the exterior, enhancing both aesthetics and playability.
